I am an aggregate of my regional and global consciousness. My travel through more than ten countries, a constant uprooting from one culture to another has all amalgamated in my work. My work is an attempt to reflect my experiences as a woman and as a traveler.

I have very strong feelings about what I see as attempted subjugation of women in most world cultures. In my work I attempt to reflect the violent and myriad colors of femininity and its wonderful achievements. I have painted various series titled "Celebrate Women", "My mothers daughter" ... a joyful celebration of womanhood.

I have three children and am now living in Brookline.
